SG head honcho and main projecteer, Krist Krueger, has launched yet another new Song A Week series, Desolation Sessions. The direction of this one is to focus specifically on acoustic-based songs, with all the bells and whistles removed, just simple bare bones songwriting at its purest. The one follows directly on the heels of Aestheticism, the solo full band and wide ranging instrumentation project focused predominantly on slower subdued rock songs. Krist Krueger of Southerly heads back to Europe

Southerly front-person and songwriter Krist Krueger heads back on tour in Europe this May and June on another solo acoustic venture, this time with friend Tobias Heiland of Ghost of a Chance. The tour consists mainly of Germany and Switzerland and nearly all dates are house shows (awesome!), rounding it out with two club shows alongside good friend John Allen in Hamburg and Berlin. We may extend the series a second time which was initially to end on February 28th, extended through March and now may keep slugging away at it through April. Huzzah!
