Free Wall PDXWhat is a "free wall"? A dedicated community-provided space for graff/visual artists, taggers and pasters to make their work available in a public forum. It's a rotating mural with its frequency as consistent as artists choose to renew the work.
Free walls have always been important spaces for visual art, action and activism. A stable, secure and safe spot for artists to work. Want to build your own free wall? It's easy! Supplies: - Zip Ties - Box Cutter - Chloroplast Panels (you can use any material, wood, etc, but we find chloroplast is the best as it holds up in the damp PNW winters, is lightweight, and still holds paint well. You can find these panels at hardware stores like Lowe's, etc. - Sense of Community - Love of Art |
