Belmont Community Free Wall
What is a "free wall?" A dedicated community-provided and accessible space for graff/visual artists, taggers and wheat-pasters to make their work available in a public forum. It's a rotating mural wall that changes as frequently and consistently as artists choose to put up new work.
Free walls have always been important spaces for visual art, action and activism. A stable, secure and safe spot for artists to work. Want to build your own free wall? It's easy! Supplies: - Zip Ties - Box Cutter - Chloroplast Panels (you can use any material, wood, etc, but we find chloroplast is the best as it holds up in the damp PNW winters, is lightweight, and still holds paint well. You can find these panels at hardware stores like Lowe's, etc. - Sense of Community - Love of Art |
