SGL003 featuring System and Station, a legendary Portland band we all love and respect.  Their honest devotion to craft, high energy and originality demanded our attention for years.  Think epic rock somewhere between Led Zeppelin and Drive Like Jehu. This live record showcases their 15-year journey (1998 – 2013) that was born in Boise, raised in Madison, and put down roots in Portland.  Krist Kruger from Southerly even played bass with them for a tour supporting In The Twilight, an amazing album.

The band’s been on hiatus since 2013 and RFK Heise (Vocals, Guitar, Primary writer) made the daring move to record a heavy hitting rock opus alone under the moniker Last Giant. It’s unknown if System and Station will ever reunite but lucky for us we can travel back in time to a kick ass live performance recorded at Kelly’s Olympian/ Knife Shop by engineer and producer Larry Crane (Jackpot Studios and Tape Op Magazine).
